The Van Doren Rubber Company, universally known as Vans, was founded in America in Anaheim, California in 1966 by brothers Paul and Jim Van Doren together with partners Gordon Lee and Serge Delia. Today, Vans is a world leader in the production of skateboard shoes, known for their rugged make up and sticky sole, perfect for the skateboard, but also for its line of street apparel and sportswear accessories.
